WOW, this is a MEGO (My Eyes Gloss Over) announcement introducing the potential awesomeness of these fused adaptive technologies.

Some bright entrepreneurs combined heads-up technology with contact lenses.  Heads-up displays have been used by military aircraft pilots since 1960 and also in automobile driving assist packages since 1988.

William Feinbloom, a New York optometrist, introduced new scleral lenses in 1936 made of a combination of glass and plastic that were considerably lighter than previous glass-blown contacts. Kevin Tuohy, a California optician, introduced the first contact lenses that resembled the modern contact lenses back in 1948.

Heads-up displays with contact lenses have now become digital twin products for the aviation and optical industries.

Digital twin technologies make use of existing technology thereby reducing time it took to development the technology thereby saving boo-coos of money and time.

Mojo came to fruition in a process beginning in 2017 once public contact lens technology intersected chip technology advancements.

The Mojo web site grabs your attention right away with this question:

What if tomorrow you could ...
  • See a stronger future.
  • Elevate your sight.
  • And look the world in the eye.
  • Eyes up.  Tomorrow is here.

WOW, this is a MEGO (My Eyes Gloss Over) article introducing the potential awesomeness of this technology.

The introduction presents the Mojo Lens, a smart contact lens with a built-in display that gives you timely information without interrupting your focus. By understanding your real-world context, Mojo Lens provides relevant, eyes-up notifications and answers. Designed by optometrists, technologists, and medical experts, Mojo Lens gives you the knowledge you need—exactly when it’s needed.

The company is selling dream Information without distraction.

Mojo Lens’ revolutionary design uses a tiny microLED display the size of a grain of sand to share critical information, and smart sensors powered by solid-state batteries built into a scleral lens that also corrects your vision. By overlaying digital information onto our world, Mojo Lens empowers each of us to be our best self in any situation.

The company reminds us that during important moments, we all need crucial information, whether it’s the next curve on the bike trails, the address of the next appointment, or the latest sales projections. Mojo Lens helps you remember what matters most so you can concentrate on your priorities without burying your face in a screen or getting distracted by a mobile device.

Can you even imagine the things that could be done with this once it is approved by the appropriate regulatory and authorizing avenues?

MOJO recently posted a new article called Today, I wore Mojo Lens...and saw the future.

It appears this level technology is able to among other things cast a projection via WiFi communications in a manner similar to the services' head up displays.  It is technology that has been used in military aircraft pilot and flight support assist packages and in high end auto enhancements incorporated in many new driver assist software systems in many new cars currently (example, Epilog).

But, I can imagine that an individual could go through complete Meta-AR exercises or presentations/games and the like while they're at work, or in training, or at play or whatever that could lead to.  It could also be a way to dump the laptop and even the smartphone, enabling hands-free computing.

Currently Mojo Lens chips are being powered by minute rechargeable battery technology.  But the infrastructure is there to slave wireless and touchless power (WiGl-wireless/touchless power to IoT) or power them with developing biosensors that measure biological or chemical reactions by generating signals proportional to the concentration of an analyte enabling a human biochemical/wireless and handsfree computer interface possible.

Again, literally, MY EYES GLOSS OVER, at the thoughts.  Close to one step away from completing common place brain-computing interfaces?  We could be witnessing a Meta-human virtual reality interface without having to have strapped on or wired up interfacing.

OMG, MEGO! Keep your eyes open; more to come as I have time to post them.!
